This DVD covers the preparations for the final match of the Dark Tournament and the Kurama vs. Karasu fight. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
Menus:
Nothing special, same as always. We really got jipped with the Behind the Kanji in the extras though, because it just told you what the girls' names on their tickets were, even though it was obvious because they were holding them.
Music:
The music in this was great, just like all of YYH. Nothing really stood out to me on this DVD, though. Great music as always, but nothing special.
Voices:
Yoko's voice is really great. Its a shame he isn't around more often, because often times I find Kurama's voice to be not loud enough. I don't really like the Japanese voices for YYH, especially Kurama's girly one, which is probably the reason why many people originally thought he was a girl. However, the English cast does a great job, and I felt that there were several voices that fit perfectly, specifically being Juri, Kuwabara, and Sakyo. The others were good too, but these three seemed to stand out to me. Karasu's voice is also good, and it becomes more casual and natural nearer to the end of the fight.
Content:
The Kurama vs. Karasu fight was EXTREMELY bloody. However, I got the uncut version, so I have no idea what it looks like edited, which is what will be shown on Cartoon Network. I wouldn't want to be an editor at FUNi when they did the Kurama vs. Karasu fight. But the extreme bloodiness made sense since Kurama was kinda gettin hit with bombs. ^_^ The animation was really good all-around, and the fight itself is quite good.
Overall:
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone at all. Its a great DVD, especially for those of you who enjoy lots of blood and violence. Also, you get a free YYH TCG card! Peace out!
