Yu Yu Hakusho 4 - Final

Title: Yu Yu Hakusho 4 - Final
Platform: SNES
Number of Players: 1-2
Genre: Fighting
Release Date: 3/24/95

Intro: Well, well, the finale of the YYH games for SNES. Too bad I played this one before the others. :P If you're new to the series and/or games, I would not recommend this game to you, as it focuses on the last part of the series. But if you are familiar with the series already, then go right ahead. (Although you could play it if you're new to the series, as I can do nothing to stop you.)

Really, this is a great game, and I was quite impressed.

Graphics: Pretty average for SNES. The backgrounds were a bit dull, but the sprites were pretty good. The characters were designed very well, and the attacks look good as well.

Music/Sounds: Although there was relentless shouting in Japanese whenever a character performed a special attack, I thought that YYH 4 did quite a good job. The music wasn't TOTAL crap, but it wasn't exactly the best either.

Gameplay: I really liked the gameplay of this game. However, Story Mode was extremely confusing, especially if you can't read Japanese. But, the controls were simple to figure out, and I found a guide on GameFAQs to help me with the combos. The game's system is quite similar to that of YYH 2, but I liked that, so that's a plus.

Overall: Great game and I'd recommend it to anyone who is willing to ignore the fact that this game is in Japanese. Unless of course they can read Japanese. Then I'd guess they'd like it even more. BTW, I kick ass with Majin Yusuke!

Kuwabara defeats Yusuke

Kuwabara finally defeats Yusuke!! (This was my first match when I was figuring out the buttons.)
